Fergal Scahill

Fergal Scahill is one of Ireland’s most respected and versatile traditional musicians. A multi-instrumentalist best known as the fiddler with the award-winning band We Banjo 3, Fergal has built an international reputation for his energetic playing, deep musicality, and creative spirit.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, he has performed thousands of shows across 30 countries, from intimate sessions to some of the world’s biggest stages. Fergal’s music bridges tradition and innovation — rooted in the rich heritage of Irish fiddle playing, yet constantly evolving through his curiosity, imagination, and joy for collaboration.
